Pithoragarh is a small town in Uttarakhand state; it is also a district of Uttaranchal in Kumaon region. Pithoragarh situated at the height of 1851 meters in a valley. The place is also known as “Little Kashmir” of Uttarakhand. Prime Attraction of Pithoragarh

Bhatakot: The ideal place to see the natural beauty with sunrise and sunset. In the past it was a Christian colony. You can reach there by walking from Siltham.

Chandak: The place is around 8 kms away from the city, you can see picturesque view of Himalaya and town from here. There is a very old temple (Moshtmano temple) which is very famous in locals.

Thal Kedar: This place is around 15-16 km away from the City, small but beautiful trek for trekking lovers. The place is also famous for its Shivratri fair.

Dharchula: The place is around 96 km away from Pithoragarh at the bank of Kali River. If you want to see Nepal from Pithoragarh, you have to must visit to Dharchula. The Nepal is just other side of the river from Dharchula. It is also an important camp in Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.

By Train: The nearest railway station for Pithoragarh is Kathgodam and Tanakpur, which is around 151 kms away after that you have to take Taxi or Bus to reach Pithoragarh.

By Air: The nearest operational airport is Pant Nagar, however a small airport Naini Saini is also very close to Pithoragarh but it’s not in working condition.

By Road: Pithoragarh is well connected by road with all major cities of Uttarakhand. The direct bus services are available to New Delhi to Pithoragarh.
